Felt Craft: More and more handphone cosy

I had been occupied myself with making more and more handphone cosy for the past 2 weeks. I just can't stop myself. It was really addictive and fun!! Or maybe just because I was so bored to death at this new place. However, enjoy~

Farewell gift

It has been a while since my last post. I had been really busy adapting myself in the new workplace, new town and the most important, the new lifestyle. I'm now no longer have the time to laze around indulging my "holiday" time anymore. There are a lot of new responsibilities but it still doesn't stop me from continuing my passion in craft. Since I'm here in the new workplace replacing a teacher who is coincidentally my father's former colleague, I decided to give her something as a farewell gift. (Lately, I'm so addicted to stitching felt and owl.) So, I ended up made her an owl keyring. Hope she love it!!

Felt Craft: Handphone Cosy

I was inspired to make this handphone cosy after looking at some felt crafts in Flcker. I used my phone as the measurement and some gingham patterned cotton for the inside. Some crochet appliques were used as the embellishment.

Felt Creation : Roses Brooch

These are the result of my combination of felt with crochet. I made some rose brooches. The roses are crocheted while the leaves are cut from felt and embroidered using yarn. The brooches are sew on a backpin and voila!! a bunch of rose brooches are completed. These brooches can be used on bag, cardigan, pencil case and many more.

Crochet Crazee: Double yarn crochet?

I wanted to make something special for my besties as their graduation gift. I was really interested with crocheting double yarn and wanted to try it. I tried to mix and match the yarns in order to find the most suitable combination. The heart pattern was chosen because it symbolises how much I love them. After so many trials and errors and pattern modifying, I finally found out the perfect pattern to crochet the heart using double yarns. The hearts turned out well and I sew some buttons to embellish them..

7 hearts were managed to be completed within 2 days despite the madness of preparing for the Graduation day... Hope they love it!!!
